700 bicycles in China (FMCG)

An all new sales force of 700 people on bicycles is a challenge to conventional thinking on how to manage sales.

We worked with the client (and yes, we cycled round Shanghai too) on outlet segmentation and targeting, data capture, sales aids (that would survive in the bicycle basket in any weather) and large scale Induction Training.  

Outcome

The initiative was so successful that we worked on their next new channel start-up and developed programs to transfer the learnings to other developing markets.
